Fujifilm/Sonosite continues their partnership with Pensar for the SII portable ultrasound system. Our engineering team to tackle challenges including aggressive minimization of edge margin around the display as well as the overall product. We exceeded the standard 60601 requirements for drop and increased overall durability. Pensar engineering also worked with the Sonosite team to reduce product weight and maintain tight tolerance loops and high part yields to consistently achieve the excellent fit and finish desired.

Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, User Experience
We worked collaboratively with Sonosite’s internal teams to optimize the device architecture while balancing the mechanical, electrical, and design requirements. This effort included all detail design on new mechanical parts as well as managing tooling activities for molded and thixomolded parts to ensure the contract manufacturer could produce the desired result. We also provided electrical engineering and project management. Helping our clients exceed their goals is how we maintain long-term repeat Clients like Fujifilm/Sonosite.
